Bicycle Safety Action Plan
The Arizona Department of Transportation is developing a Bicycle Safety Action Plan to reduce the number of bicycle-related crashes, injuries, and fatalities on state highways.
One of the most important steps toward creating the Bicycle Safety Action Plan is to document the perspectives, concerns, and input, as it relates to bicycle safety, of residents from throughout the State of Arizona.
All residents of Arizona are invited to participate and complete a Public Input Survey for bicycle safety. The results of the survey will serve as input to identifying important bicycle safety issues and will help to establish goals and objectives for the Bicycle Safety Action Plan.
A link to the survey can be found on the Arizona Department of Transportation's Bicycle and Pedestrian Program website (http://www.azbikeped.org/). The results of the on-line survey are collected automatically so respondents do not have to email or print the completed survey.
PCC Inc. Board Openings
The current board also has opening for three to five additional members. The PCC, INC board will meet quarterly to take care of business and plan for upcoming events. We also need volunteers to plan trail work days, handle membership, prepare the ride calendar, plan other social events for PCC, INC.

To all members:
Since no members have stepped up to assume leadership roles on the Prescott Cycling Club Board, the current PCC officers have reorganized the club as a 501 (c) 3 to serve the needs of the club’s charitable event – The Skull Valley Loop. This means that 85% of the club activities much focus on the Loop Challenge or other charitable events.
Membership fees will no longer be collected. The Loop Challenge will continue to support the club website and Topica for informational purposes. That will allow current PCC members to continue to communicate and post “UNOFFICAL” rides.
There is still a need for board members who want to work with Cindy Alward to support the Skull Valley Loop Challenge and our new charity – The Prescott Burn Camp. This position would involve one annual board meeting, filing Annual Corp Report with State of Arizona, Tax report e-filing, and approving and overseeing budget for Skull Valley Loop Challenge.
